The Shadow Thread Released

Greetings!

I am part of a group of intentional dreamers who, once a month on the last Sunday, join on the grid to dream for the planet.  Each last Friday I send a message to suggest a focus for our DreamTime, although everyone is encouraged to follow their own inspired path. The following is what I've shared with them today:

"In thinking about prompting this Sunday's DreamTime, I was filled with a knowing that has startled me, so I am sharing it with you as I recall it.

To do this, I invite you to imagine for a few moments that our Earth program is constantly moving through layers of Consciousness as it evolves.  And it might be viewed as a playing field on which we, the players, are feeling our way and acting out the patterns much like someone might play a video game.

Just now I am told that we're extricating ourselves from a karmic thread that we might call a shadow thread/pattern in which we have been exploring shadow selves.  We are reflecting the same pattern that has been true of Earth.

This does not mean that we have not known the light. On the contrary, the light has been a beacon showing us the way out of the thread and into a pattern where we breathe more easily and release the shadow.

I'm also told that the shadow self expresses itself differently in each person; struggle in relationships, grief, depression, addiction, anger, conflict. Now it's as if we rise up from the shadow thread, breathing more easily and shaking off what no longer serves us.

I know I'm asking us to focus our attention for the planet in this Sunday's DreamTime on something that may seem nebulous.  But our focus on the grid can assist the planet in releasing this old pattern/layer/thread/cycle.  Whatever you want to call it, our focus is enhanced by breathing deeply and feeling all of us rising up.

Thank you all for being there to encourage this information to be channeled.

Our Dreamers are folks all over the planet who have been drawn to this service, so I invite any of you who would like to join us to let me know in a comment on this blog or to my email: phylel11@gmail.com   You don't have to join to dream with us, of course, but if you'd like to be on the mailing list, I would be happy to include you.

This time on the planet is so extraordinary that it defies words.  Suffice to say, we are key players in an evolutionary cycle that we've already volunteered to.  Our intentional focus enhances our function.  A stellar trip!

With gratitude,
Phyl-EL

Here and Now...

Hello, Everyone!

August 14th marks 33 years since opening to channel and it's amazingly hard to believe.

One night as my friend, Michael, and I sat in our booth at Perkins in Bemidji, Minnesota, the master Vishnu arrived.  One or more of the masters would guide us each evening that we were inspired to meet at Perkins, and we had no idea how extraordinary this was; that we had Universal carte blanche.

On that evening I asked Vishnu, "What do we have to learn tonight?" And he said, "You will learn nothing.  You will recall everything."

Over the years, of course, and not all at once, Michael and I have each recalled what served us best and realized the Paths determined by our individual contracts.  We've enjoyed these great "road trip" conversations reflecting on all that we shared in those last 4 months of 1983, he now in Los Angeles and me somewhere on my smart phone driving from Duluth or Bemidji to my home in Minneapolis.

And yesterday I realized that my "recall" is coming into focus.  I am in that sweet spot where what I have believed is now, 33 years and many lifetimes later, a knowing.

We are all on this journey of recalling all that is stored in our personal Consciousness, which is a stellar library of Wisdom.  As we breathe into our limitless Wisdom and affirm our willingness to achieve knowing we unlock the Cosmic doors behind which are wonders beyond imagination.

Of course, we are still wearing our human suits which means we continue to explore life, challenge and apply ourselves.  And our tools are increasingly strong and retrievable.

We're thrilled when, in a glorious moment, recalling pure Self matches the dreams we've held all along.  The believing has become the knowing.  And we know this is what we've been coming to all along.

Another day, another rule - OR NOT

Greetings!

Another day of quiet contemplation, and the first message reminds me that "rules create self-consciousness."  A deep subject.

What are we without rules?  How do we function as a human being without structure?  Won't our society fall apart without its guidelines?

We have big rules: commandments.  We have small rules: wash clothes on Monday, pay the bills, be respectful of our neighbors, brush our teeth, etc., etc.  In contemplating the rules in my life, I wrote the following:

"Be aware of the rules you have created in the belief you would be more secure using them as a structure.
If your rules are created by you, you can deconstruct them.
And they are, indeed, created by you, as are all things.
This moment, this breath, holds no rules.  Ease. Peace.
Without rules, tension evaporates.
Without tension in this moment,
Wisdom flows, and from it Right Action.
The rules you created on the premise of security no longer serve you."

I realize that I've been practicing living outside of the rules most of my life, yet so many rules emanate from me, so many rules live within my molecular structure, that even as I breathe I am influenced by them.  As they have served me, I am grateful.  As they no longer serve me, I intend to deconstruct them.

Living without rules, then, does not mean imposing my beliefs on anyone else.  Wherever we are best served, let us live there.  Going within to eke out the residue that is governed by rules means finding what does serve me in any moment.  Achieving a flow of Wisdom that naturally provides impetus toward right action is my goal.  Breathing brings me there, and so I practice.

As always, writing clarifies my practice, so I thank you for your part.  Such a gift.

A Short Reflection

Greetings!

The message that comes for me today is , "the art of being."
As I contemplated my week that began with three clients yesterday, then no clients scheduled for the rest of the week, I spoke aloud my intention to be available for clients or other activity.  And then the message came.  This is a time to practice the art of being.

As I felt into the energy of this day earlier, I felt myself as the desert sands, the dunes drifting with the shifting wind, just as I have felt this fluid movement in my life over the past few months.  But particularly this week.

We have little awareness or appreciation for the energy it takes to manage the energy of change, whether that change is within or without - or both.  But as the planet continues its birthing and we follow suit, we are learning, no matter whether it's comfortable.  So the art of being supports my renewal.  And my attention goes to whether I am pleased with the shape of my life.

We are learning to discern what shape we choose to give our days when not occupied with the usual or expected.
I'm reminded of the day I chose to leave a relationship because the partially disabled man I'd been dating stated with great anticipation how he looked forward to my taking care of him when we married.  He was a dear man, but my view going forward was to retrieve myself from my previous pattern of caretaking.  He said he understood.

If the shape of my life disappoints me I have only myself to consult, then to choose what serves me better.

I learn as I write, so thanks for being my collaborators!

With respect,
Phyl-EL

Angelic Counsel

Hello again!

Here I am on the healing side of the flu and grateful for all the help from my angels.  In a previous post I reported what our angels had to say about their true identities, so I won't repeat that here except to say that to simplify things, I'll simply call them our angels.

Two weeks ago I had scheduled two clients for yesterday afternoon.  Then the flu set in on Christmas Eve and I wondered if I should reschedule.  But I asked my angels for help and knew I could do the sessions without symptoms.  So yesterday morning I lay down for one of my meditation naps, thanking them for their support.  As I woke they offered this:
"You achieve more than you know.  When you build the link between us, you raise the consciousness of the planet.  When you build your immune system by allowing us to help you, the immune system of the planet is improved.  You can see why when you ask for our support, in addition to personal help, you/we are supporting the condition of the planet."

This reminds me of the message from my father shortly after I opened to channel in '83.  He passed at age 40 when I was 13, so issues remained in our mutual assignments.  He said, "Know that when you heal something about us, you are also healing me."

This is one of the pivotal messages I've received.  It opened my thinking to consider that nothing we do is solitary.  We are all engaged in a unified purpose.  The Consciousness is a single thing in which we all swim, like whales in the oceans.  What one does affects each other one, somehow, in some way.

We say we want to make a contribution, to serve, to see  a reason for being.  Here it is.  If I say I want peace on Earth, then to achieve it, truly it must begin within me.  And when we consider that our communal immune system is affected by building stronger links with our celestial ancestors, then I am excited.  Amen.

With love and respect,
Phyl-EL

Grieving Part II

Good Morning!

A follow-up to yesterday's post, to report that deep crying is very good medicine.  Yes, I took my homework seriously, and some deep crying yesterday really lightened my load.

Do you also observe that logic can get in the way of a good cry?  While I was terribly hurt for my nephew, who lost his dear furry friend in tragic incident, my head got in the way of deep grieving. After a short cry, I carried the grief until our angels prompted us yesterday.  Then the waves of grief came up. I not only grieved for my nephew but also for other situations I had only briefly touched.

Sometimes my head tells me that I don't need to indulge myself in crying or shouting.  Sometimes when prayer or deep breathing is the way I choose to support a person or situation I put aside the grief that tries to rise to the top.  And there are times when I've cried deeply about something over time, I feel like it's too much to cry even one more time.

Whenever I substitute any alternative to deep grieving the weight of it haunts me.  As the angels reminded us, depression is always the result of suppressed emotion.

This reminds me of our friend, Barbara, who lived her last two years in a state of joy.  Maybe it's more accurate to say that her final stage of life was emotionally spontaneous.  Because, while her joy was authentic, when she felt sad she simply burst into tears.  Barbara lived in Wholeness.  She taught us so much and continues to enrich our lives. Thank you, Barbara.

Crying deeply means letting it all hang out.  I've cried a lot in this life, but often it has been what I call "sideways" crying. The tears leak out, I feel deeply sad, and I go on with my day - as if I have grieved.

So I've gone on about this as long as needed.  Life is good. Grieving is as natural to life as is dying.  Amen.

Grief and the Holidays

Hello again,

This is a season of celebrations, yet several people have posted on Facebook that they are facing losses and grieving deeply now.

Having had our mother pass this year affects how we feel about the holidays.  Several people I know are grieving a deep loss, facing the end of life or dealing with serious physical issues, so my feelings are close to the surface, too.

I have asked our guides and angels for help.  Here I am in the wee hours of the morning asking whether asking for help is enough or if there is something they can suggest that would help all of us.  This is their response:

"First, grieve deeply.  Do not suppress your feelings.  This may seem obvious, but any suppressed feeling must grow stronger to insure you pay attention.  Feelings are messengers and they must not remain quiet.  You may find that other conditions, such as regret or anger, lie under the layer of grief.  These feelings affect the whole of your being until they are released.

"When your holidays arrive, the contrast to suppressed emotion grows stronger.  You think you should be feeling joy, but emotions you have not yet expressed fully come to the surface instead.  They must persist until the energy of them is exhausted.

"Talk out loud to the one or the situation you are grieving.  Be loud and stay with it until you feel spent.  Practice shouting or crying loudly - or singing.  Breath is the key to feeling, and your voice is the instrument by which you exercise release.

"Think how often you have a strong feeling and push it down. We realize that you may have to delay acting out your feelings until you are in private, but the feeling is still there waiting your attention.  It is best not to ignore it.  Emotions do not go away.  You may shelve them, but suppressing them causes depression.  Yes, depression is the result of suppressed emotion.  Always.  No exceptions.

"And, yes, ask for our support.  Our presence can trigger insights and strong emotional expression when you open yourself to our help.  Asking for help is good practice in receiving and most people need that practice.  We wish you peace"

I have my homework to do.  I hope this helps you, too.

Peace,
Phyl-EL
